How to restore the service indicator on the BMW X3 G01

In the following article, we will explain the procedure for resetting the service light on the BMW X3 G01 after having performed a service. To reset the light, first turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, then press and hold the button on the left side of the panel for about 5 seconds. The oil light, which also serves as the service light in this car, will appear. When this light appears, release the button and press it again, holding it until the message "reset?" appears below the light. Release the button again, press it again, and hold it until the reset procedure begins. Wait for the procedure to complete, then restart the instrument panel. The procedure will now be complete and the light will no longer be present on the panel. It is recommended to perform this procedure only if the light remains on even after servicing the vehicle.
