To replace the external handle of the BMW iX1, you will need to open the corresponding door to access the screws that secure the interior trim panel to its housing. The fastening screws, located at the bottom and at the site of the interior handle, can be loosened, and the underlying connectors can be disconnected. At this point, you can locate the screws that secure the handle to its housing from the inside, disconnecting the connectors. Once this is done, you can insert the new handle, securing it and connecting it appropriately.
