How to replace the battery of the BMW IX1 key

In the following guide you will find the description of all the steps you need to follow to replace the small battery located inside the key of your BMW IX1. First of all, remove the chrome cover with your own hands, then slide out the battery holder from the side of the key and replace the exhausted battery with a new one of the same type. Once the new battery is inserted, all you have to do is insert the battery holder into the key and reassemble the protective cover that you removed at the beginning of the procedure.
