Removal/Replacement of the Center Console Storage Compartment

In this short video, you can see how to replace the storage compartment between the seats of the BMW 3 Series E46. The replacement does not require tools as the drawer is secured with simple plastic clips (three on each side) plus two tabs at the back. To detach it, pull upward while simultaneously squeezing the edges of the drawer. The cup holder is made up of two pieces; first, install the small storage compartment at the back of the center tunnel, ensuring that the two tabs fit correctly, and then install the cup holder, paying attention to the two tabs.
