These quick and simple steps will show you how to temporarily disable the Start&Stop system on the BMW X1. First, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition; then go to the vehicle settings from the central display, lowering the dropdown menu to access the Start&Stop function, as shown in the video.

At this point, select the Start&Stop option to temporarily disable it; you can reactivate it at any time from the same menu (the Start&Stop indicator will appear on the instrument cluster).
