How to Replace the Chrome Door Panels

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Body

Sometimes, even components deemed "non-essential" in a vehicle can break or become unsuitable for their intended purpose for any reason. Some people also work on their cars for tuning, modifying them in the process, but that is not what we are discussing now. In this guide, you will learn how to replace the chrome door panels on both sides: another simple and quick job. First, you need to remove the inner plastic panel of the vehicle so you can proceed to the next step: loosen the plastic clip by hand without necessarily removing it, on the left or right depending on which side you are working on. Then, preferably using the handle of a screwdriver, tap the first two clips to detach the first part of the panel; now, gently push up by hand to completely remove it. Done!

Timing Belt Replacement on Audi Q5

The timing belt on the Audi Q5 has reached its mileage limit, so what should you do? Let's go through the removal of the belts on the Q5. Open and lift the hood of the engine, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once these steps are completed, remove the plastic covers of the belts located on the left side of the engine. Loosen the second tensioner and slide the belt out of its seat. After installing the new belt, use a wrench to install the tensioner pulley, and tighten it until the belt has the correct tension (install both belts). Reinstall the covering plastics. Start and test the Audi Q5 engine.
