Installing LED on the Rear Logo

This video shows how to mount the LED light behind the BMW logo. The operation is performed on a BMW 5 Series. In this case, the operation has already been completed, so only the procedure will be explained. To access the part in question, open the trunk lid. The trunk lid is covered by some panels that must be removed to access the logo from the inside. First, disconnect the interior light of the trunk. Each clip that secures the interior panels is covered by a small plastic cover that can be removed with the tip of a flathead screwdriver. Once the clips are detached, the two panels can be removed. After uncovering the electrical connection, it shows how the LED light was applied to the logo and explains how the terminals of its electrical connection were connected to the wires (gray and brown) that power the rear brake lights. Finally, it shows the entire hidden path of the wires.
