These short and simple steps will show you how to remove and replace the exterior door handle on the front door of the BMW 5 Series. First, open the front door of the vehicle and start unscrewing the side mounting screw of the handle using a wrench with an extension; then remove the first rectangular piece of the handle, followed by the actual handle, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace and install the new exterior handle, securing it properly to the door and finally checking its correct operation.
