Coolant Cap Water Leak

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Antifreeze coolant

If you have a water leak from the coolant cap, there are several factors to consider and many things to check. The first thing I recommend checking is the rubber hoses connecting the radiators. Why check them? Because being rubber, if they harden, they can cause water leaks. Another reason could be damage to the radiator due to age or a potential impact. A more serious reason for experiencing water leaks could be a break in the water conduits or deterioration of the gasket.

How to remove the driver's side airbag (steering wheel) on a BMW 3 Series? This operation is very simple if you follow the steps. Let's see in this guide how to proceed: insert a medium-length screwdriver into the rear slots on the steering wheel and turn until you release the clips that hold the airbag. Once the airbag is disconnected, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. For reinstalling the airbag: connect the power connector, then press it onto the steering wheel until the locking clips snap into place inside the steering wheel.
