Disassembly of Front Structure Components

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

Once the front bumper is removed, it is very simple to continue disassembling the other components that make up the front structure; start by removing the auxiliary fan and its support frame by disconnecting the power connector; continue with the impact absorbers that are attached to the frame through a bolted flange; finally, disassemble the front grille complete with the hood latch crossmember by first unscrewing the plastic mounting brackets of the radiator and then the pins that secure it to the fenders (it may be necessary to detach some cable ties).
