How to Remove the Fuel Line

Removing the fuel line located on the engine is a very simple task that you can do yourself in a few minutes. First, remove the bolts that secure it, and using a metal tool, apply pressure underneath the rod to detach it. To perform this operation, first lift the fuel line, and then at both ends, on both sides, disconnect the hoses that secure the line and remove it. To disconnect them, simply press the plastic clip that holds them in place. After that, just detach the fuel line and you're done. The video features a BMW 5 Series.
