How do you disassemble the air fan in the BMW 5 Series E60?

The fan mentioned above can be disassembled both because it needs maintenance, for example by replacing the broken bearing, and because it is burnt and needs to be completely replaced. We follow the execution procedure of the work in the video, on a BMW 5 Series E39, but the principle is identical to the 5 Series E60. We start by removing the front wheel arches, then we remove the bumper grilles, always front, by unscrewing the locking pins of the bumper and pulling forcefully to release it, taking care to disconnect the various rear electrical connectors. Finally, the protective grille and the aforementioned fan are disassembled.
