How to Operate/Adjust the Air Conditioner Despite Broken Buttons

If your car has an air conditioner, you will likely have more buttons for adjusting heated or cooled air compared to a basic model. It may happen that some buttons, especially those used more frequently, deteriorate or break completely. In such cases, first remove the broken button entirely and try, if possible, to operate the control with your finger or with a pointed tool while waiting to replace the missing button with a new one.

Use a screwdriver to unscrew the fastening pins on the handle located on the door panel, and unscrew the pins in the plastic of the door opening lever. Remove the handle from the door panel, then use a lever to detach the upper trim panel. Detach the glove compartment panel at the bottom of the door with the lever. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
