How to Replace the Battery in a BMW

In this guide, discover how to replace the battery in a BMW. Start by opening the bonnet, as shown at minute 1:00; on the right, under a panel that you need to lift, you will find the battery. Now, unscrew the negative terminal and then the positive terminal. The positive terminal can be removed along with the entire support (the red plastic part) by releasing the two clips as shown at minute 1:25. Now the battery will be free, and you can extract it. Insert the new battery: it is essential that after placing it in the designated compartment, connect the positive terminal first, applying the red support and securing it with the side clips. Only then can you connect the negative terminal, as shown at minute 3:40. Tighten the terminals, and the operation will be complete.
