In this short and simple guide we will see how to disassemble and replace the exterior rearview mirror of the BMW X5, following the instructions below. First of all we open the front door and begin to disassemble and remove the door panel, unscrewing the fixing screws; we also remove the triangular plastic cover, then unscrewing the fixing screws of the external rearview mirror, as shown in the video. At this point we disconnect the electrical connector of the rear-view mirror, extracting it from the outside; let's replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
