How do you install the longitudinal bars on the BMW X1?

Model: BMW X1 F48 - Years 2015-2022
Part: Roof rack bars

In order to install the longitudinal bars of the BMW X1 it is necessary to access the interior of the passenger compartment, so that all the components that prevent the removal of the roof are removed. It will therefore be necessary to unscrew the screws that fix the side handles, the ceiling light of the courtesy lights, the sunshade panels, etc. Once these parts have been removed, the covers of the pillars of all the doors will have to be removed, in order to be able to remove the headlining. Its removal will allow access to the screws that fix the longitudinal moldings on the roof from the inside: these can now be detached, so that the longitudinal bars are fixed inside their housing.
