How to Install a Seat Cover Kit

If you want to protect and customize your car, you can install seat covers. This operation is relatively simple and may vary slightly from one car model to another. First, it's best to take the opportunity to give a general clean. Start with the piece that goes on the backrest and then move to the bottom part. Slide the cover on, trying to center it as you position it. The fabric flap on the back of the two pieces should be tucked between the backrest and the seat so that it comes out at the back of the seat. At this point, secure the elastic bands of the covers under the seat with the provided hooks. If the car has electric adjustments at the base of the seat, you will need to be a bit more patient, trying to slide the cover without covering the buttons. Now slide the cover for the headrest. For the rear seat, the process is equally simple. Once you detach the seat, you can work more comfortably. Fit the cover and secure it by hooking the elastics with the provided hooks. The backrest, being fixed, should simply be wrapped with the appropriate cover. Car model: BMW 5 Series.
