Operation: How to replace a xenon bulb

When a xenon bulb burns out, it must be changed quickly so as not to violate the highway code. Doing so is extremely simple. First you need to buy a new bulb, referring to the product code and trying to buy one that is the same as the original kit. The old bulb must be disassembled by removing the plastic cap that protects the headlight, carefully removing the clip that holds it and unhooking the three wires that connect it to the control unit. The new lamp must be mounted by connecting it directly to the direct wires of the xenon control unit. Put back the plastic cap removed previously to close the headlight, turning it in the opposite direction to the opening.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
