- Years 2003-2010 In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the malfunctioning parking sensor control unit on the BMW 5 Series E60, in simple and quick steps. First we open the trunk door and start by removing the floor and the spare wheel; after which we will find below our parking sensor control unit, which we will remove by disconnecting the three electrical connectors. At this point, replace it with the new one and make the connections again; we just have to check its effective functioning, getting on board the car!
