Cleaning and Caring for Leather Seats

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Seat

It is my opinion that leather interiors not only make your car's interior more welcoming and, in some ways, luxurious, but they also provide the best hygiene for the cabin since they do not absorb dust and dirt. However, it is equally true that they require care to preserve them over time, which is quite easy. There are countless kits available for cleaning and caring for leather interiors, but you can also use what you typically have at home. Start by removing any debris from the seats with compressed air or a vacuum cleaner, ensuring to clean the folds of the seams. Next, wash the leather with regular mild soap using a soft bristle brush, removing excess soap with a microfiber cloth. At the end of the cleaning, treat the leather with neutral cream: the result will be exceptional, and the seats will look like new.

How to Remove the CV Boot on Fiat Panda

Let’s see how to remove the boot from the joint on a Fiat Panda. After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order.
