First, open the key by pressing the appropriate button on the casing. Then, open the casing by separating it into two parts. Now access the battery compartment by removing the old unit from its slot. Replace it with a new CR 2032 3V battery, which can commonly be found in most stores. Finally, close the remote and test its functionality.
