To replace the radio in a Cadillac ELR, use a tool to pry off the plastic trim surrounding the radio display and its buttons. Once the trim is removed, access the screws underneath and remove them to extract the device from its housing and disconnect the connectors at the back.

At this point, insert the new radio, connect it, and secure it with the appropriate bolts; finally, reinstall the trim to cover everything.
