How to Replace the Air Filter on a Chevrolet Sonic

To replace the air filter on your vehicle, follow these simple steps: open the hood, locate the box containing the air filter on the right side of the engine compartment, disconnect the air pressure sensor first, and remove the mounting screws around the cover of the box. At this point, lift the cover to access the filter compartment, remove the old filter, and clean the compartment before installing the new filter. (Always check the specifications of the filter you are installing to ensure it is suitable for your engine type.) Finally, place the cover back on the filter box, reattach the screws, and reconnect the air pressure sensor.
