Today, let's go through the steps to remove and replace the alternator on a Chevrolet Impala. First, open the hood and start loosening the tensioner for the alternator belt to remove it. Next, remove the reservoir located next to the alternator, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the bolts securing the alternator, disconnect the electrical connector and its wiring. Then, remove the old alternator and replace it with the new one, installing the original part and following the reverse procedure!
