Today's guide will show the main instructions on how to remove and replace the alternator of the Chevrolet Captiva. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin by removing the power steering fluid reservoir; then remove the engine mount to access the alternator, subsequently disconnecting the V-belt, as shown in the video.

At this point, unscrew the alternator mounting bolts, disconnect the electrical wiring to remove it, and replace it with the new original one; then reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
