Let's see how to replace the alternator on the Chevrolet Captiva. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the power battery and disconnect the terminals.

Remove all the covers that protect the belts. Unscrew the bolts with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the wiring harness membranes, and unscrew all the retaining bolts of the alternator.

Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the retaining bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Refit the various covers protecting the belts and reconnect the battery terminals.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
