Let's see how to replace the Chevrolet Captiva alternator. We lift the front hood and block it with the holding rod. We locate the power supply battery and disconnect the clamps. We disassemble all the protections that cover the straps. We unscrew the pins with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the cable winding membranes, we unscrew all the fastening pins of the alternator. We take the new replacement part and insert it into the suitable housing, screw in the locking pins, then tighten the side pins of the alternator. We mount the various protection covers of the belts, connect the clamps to the battery.
