In order to access the window lifter motor, it is first of all necessary to remove the door panel: the operation is very simple. In fact, it is enough to unscrew the panel fixing screws and lever along the edges to release the pressure locks. Once the panel has been removed, disconnect the tie rod from the opening lever and socket connected to the control panel. Furthermore, it is suggested to disconnect the aforementioned push-button panel from the panel and reconnect it on the fly to the relative socket in order to test the functioning of the motor: in fact, by tapping on the motor itself, you will notice that it starts to work again. At this point it is suggested to lubricate the window guides with silicone spray to facilitate the ascent and descent and thus reduce the effort of the motor.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
