In our Citroen C3 Picasso, it may happen that the trunk hatch gets stuck, for example due to a malfunction in the lock or a problem with the battery. In these cases, we can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we open the right rear door, then we lower the seat back by operating the corresponding lever. We then go inside the trunk, locate the lock, and manually unlock it with the help of a small screwdriver. The trunk hatch will now be free to be opened.
