What we see is the proof of the safety test that Citroen did for the Nemo back in 2010. Credit where credit is due, because the Peugeot Bipper and Fiat Fiorino twins were not tested. However, there is a reason for this: they are LCVs, meaning light commercial vehicles, and not passenger cars, so they are not required to undergo this certification. The Citroen Nemo was tested because it was classified as a "van" and obtained rather poor results. Being a twin of the Bipper and Fiorino, we can get an idea of the validity of the other two vehicles as well. The test was conducted on the van version, without rear seats. Adult protection received 2 out of 5 stars; pedestrian protection received 1 out of 5 stars; child protection was not evaluated; driver assistance was not evaluated, as it did not have any advanced systems (even for that time). A fragile structure was revealed, with excessive deformation in the frontal impact, ineffective airbags, and absence of side airbags. The version with passengers was not evaluated.
