How do you replace the battery in the remote key of a DS 3? Take your remote: remove the metal part with your fingers (as shown in the video); use a screwdriver to pry between the two halves until they separate from the cover, extract the worn battery with a screwdriver, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the two halves of the remote key until you hear the locking click. Check the correct operation of the remote by testing the door lock and unlock buttons.
