How to Change the Handle on a Citroen Xsara

Model: Citroen Xsara MK 1 - Years 1997-2006
Part: Handle

Here’s how to remove the handle on a Citroen Xsara. Open the car door; remove the plastic covering panel from above the door (remove the internal handle and the speaker cover). Remove the adhesive cover to access the back of the handle (inside the door). Unscrew the screws inside the door and the screws on the side of the door. Fit a new external handle into the door skin after removing the old one (tighten the screws). After testing the operation of the handle, reassemble all the covering plastics.
