Replacement of Cabin Fan Resistor

Model: Citroen Xsara MK 1 - Years 1997-2006
Part: Heater core

To repair the cabin air circulation fan, it needs to be removed from its housing: it is located behind the centre console. To remove it, it is suggested to access from the passenger side, starting by removing the soundproofing cover located just below the glove compartment. Also remove the side cover of the tunnel to gain access: then disconnect the connectors and remove it to place it on a workbench; unscrew the retaining screw of the cover and remove it to reach the resistor and replace it (this is a spare part easily available in the aftermarket). Reassemble everything and install it back in the vehicle.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
