How to perform the service on the Citroen Xsara

Today we will explain how to perform a service on a 2004 Citroen Xsara vehicle. We begin the service by opening the front hood and unscrewing the oil filler cap. Next, we lift the vehicle onto jack stands and, using a torque wrench, we unscrew the oil pan bolt to allow the used oil to drain into a container. Once finished, we close the oil pan bolt and, with a 27mm socket wrench, we unscrew the bolt from the oil filter housing. We replace the oil filter and lower the vehicle back to the ground. We complete the engine oil and filter replacement by pouring the necessary amount of oil into the reservoir. We remove the clamp on the air duct and, using an 8mm wrench, we unscrew the screws on the cover of the air filter box and perform the replacement. To replace the cabin air filter, we get inside the vehicle and remove part of the carpet located in the passenger footwell. We access the filter box and carry out the replacement.
