How to Change the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on a Citroen C3 1.4 HDi

Today, follow these instructions to remove and replace the engine oil and fuel filter on a Citroen C3 1.4 HDi. First, raise the vehicle and remove the oil drain plug located on the sump, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then open the bonnet and use a socket spanner to unscrew the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one (also replacing its seal), as shown in the video. At this point, hand-tighten the oil filter, then gently tighten it further, and finally top up with new oil!
