Watch this short video to learn how to remove and replace the oil filter cartridge on a first-generation Citroen C3 with a 1.4 HDI engine. Before proceeding with the filter replacement, drain the engine oil by removing the drain bolt located underneath the engine; then open the bonnet and locate the oil filter, which is situated low down between the intake hose and the battery, as shown in the video. Now use a 27 mm socket to unscrew and remove it, replacing the oil cartridge inside!
