Today, learn how to replace the engine oil and oil filter while performing the routine maintenance service on the Citroen C3 HDI. First, lift the vehicle and start by loosening the oil drain bolt located under the engine using a 21 mm socket spanner; allow the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Next, unscrew the oil filter and replace it with a new one, hand-tightening the cartridge before gently tightening it; remove the oil filler cap to pour in the new oil, checking the level with the dipstick.
