If when you switch on the air conditioner you notice a bad smell coming from the ventilation vents, it means that the time has come to replace the passenger compartment air filter: it is advisable to replace it at least every 15,000 km in any case every year before the start of the summer season. when the air conditioning is practically almost always on; for the C4 Aircross the replacement is very simple since it is located immediately behind the glovebox on the passenger side; therefore open the door and release the two lateral limit stops to lower it completely and access the filter housing; remove the cap, take out the old filter, remove any residual dirt and insert the new filter. When replacing the passenger compartment air filter, it is also advisable to sanitize the ventilation ducts.
