The emergency call system of the Dacia Sandero

The Dacia Sandero vehicle is equipped with an emergency call service that allows automatic or manual calls for assistance in case of an accident or illness: the system is activated when the vehicle is started. The green light indicates that the network is available and that in case of emergency, simply press the button for three seconds to start a conversation. In the event of an accident with the deployment of airbags, the system automatically initiates a call to 112. However, the system has a flaw in that if we are not in an area where the network is available, the system may not start and therefore it will be necessary to move to start a conversation with the assistant. Since it is a system connected to emergency services, it is important to remember to avoid pressing the button even accidentally, but in case the button is pressed, simply press it again quickly to prevent the call from being made.
