How the tyre pressure loss warning works in the Dacia Bigster

Model: Dacia Bigster MK 1 - Years: 2024, 2025, 2026
Part: Tire pressure warning light

Video tutorial

The tyre pressure monitoring system in the Dacia Bigster is indirect: it measures the rotational speed of the wheels while driving. If a tyre loses pressure, its rotational speed changes, and the system detects the difference, illuminating a warning light on the dashboard.

To resolve this, check and adjust the pressure of all tyres (values indicated on the bodywork, visible by opening the driver's door). Perform this operation when the tyres are cold.

After adjustment, the light will turn off after a few minutes of driving. If you change a wheel, use the inflation kit, or load the vehicle, it is necessary to reset the reference value.

With the vehicle stationary and the ignition on, go to the vehicle menu, select "Tyre Pressure" and press "Initialisation". Confirm if the pressure has been checked. The system resets and the light turns off. If the light flashes and stays on with another orange light, there is a system fault: contact a service point.
