Unlike many Toyota models, the Yaris Hybrid places the battery inside the vehicle. The battery of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid is actually located inside the cabin, specifically under the right rear seat. In case of need to view the battery, you will have to remove the rear seat, the screws that secure the cover, and the rigid plastic cover. Once the obstacles are removed, you can access the battery compartment and perform the necessary maintenance. We remind you that in case you need to disconnect the battery, you must first remove the positive terminal and then the negative one.
