How to Replace the Cigarette Lighter Fuse on the 2022 Dacia Sandero

The malfunction of the cigarette lighter socket on a 2022 Dacia Sandero can be attributed to two options: a blown fuse or a faulty internal connector. Before working on the connector and removing the lower console of the centre dashboard, check the condition of the fuse. The fuse for the socket is located inside the cabin, specifically in the box behind the driver's side glove compartment. Once you remove the cover of the box by releasing the glove compartment, use needle-nose pliers to extract fuse number 33, which is 15 Amperes. If the fuse is blown, replace it with one of the same amperage. Before reassembling the box, test the operation of the socket. If the operation was successful, close the cover of the box and reinstall the glove compartment.
