How to Install a Dash Cam on a Dacia Sandero

To install a useful item like a dash cam on your Dacia Sandero, first disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Carefully clean the inside of the windscreen in the unshielded area, then position the adhesive mount over the mirror. Place the device, threading the cable into the roof of the vehicle. Now access the area by removing the seal and the trim from the driver's side pillar. Connect the cable to the battery and attach the plug that has entered the roof, passing through the internal pillar. Tuck the cables inside the pillar. Next, remove the trim from the steering column and the dashboard cover. Unscrew the four screws holding the instrument cluster, disconnect the plug, and remove it. Now run the dash cam cable from the pillar to the dashboard. Connect the power wire. You can now reassemble the instrument cluster by reconnecting the plug and screwing the four screws back in. Replace the dashboard cover and the steering column trim. Ensure the wire is correctly positioned inside the internal pillar and the seal, which you can reposition. Now remove the lower dashboard cover where all the wiring is located. Solder this wire as well, insulating it well with electrical tape. You can replace the cap. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Now the device, which you can activate from your mobile phone, is operational.
