How to Change the Battery on a Dacia Sandero

To change the battery on a first-generation Dacia Sandero, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine compartment. Remove any plastic covers to access the terminals. First, loosen the negative terminal and disconnect it, then loosen and disconnect the positive terminal. Unscrew the bracket or support that secures the battery in its place. Lift the battery out carefully. Place the new battery in the same housing and secure it with the bracket. Connect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, ensuring they are tight. Close the bonnet and check that the vehicle starts correctly.
