How do you replace the gear knob of the Dacia Duster?

In order to replace the gear knob of the Dacia Duster, you need to lever it off with an object to detach it from the leather covering around the gear lever. Once the gear knob has been detached from the covering, it can be removed from the top of the lever so that it can be completely removed. The new knob can be inserted into the top of the lever so that it is attached to the underlying covering: after installation, it is possible to verify that the piece is securely in place and does not cause any issues during gear changes.
