How to Replace the Air Filter on the Daihatsu Cast

To replace the engine air filter of the vehicle, follow the instructions below. First, open the bonnet and locate the air filter housing, which is situated in the centre of the engine bay just below the windscreen. To open the box, unclip the metal fasteners around it, then lift the cover to access the filter. Take the new filter, ensuring it meets the specifications compatible with your vehicle, and place it in its housing. Take the cover of the box again, position it on top, and reattach the metal fastening clips.
