In this brief guide, we will see the main instructions useful for removing the engine block from its compartment in the Daihatsu Terios. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and start disconnecting all engine mounts by unscrewing the securing bolts; disconnect the hoses and the air filter box, then disconnect the gearbox and transmission from the engine block (lifting the vehicle). At this point, it will be possible to remove the engine from its compartment, carrying out the necessary maintenance or replacements; finally, refit the entire engine block!
