To replace the engine of the Daihatsu Sirion, open the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. You will need to isolate the engine by disconnecting all connectors, removing the air filter, disconnecting the fuel sensor, removing the exhaust manifold, coolant hoses, and the injection pump. Once all the aforementioned components have been removed, you can loosen the bolts securing the engine to its mounts and extract it from its housing. Once the old engine has been removed, you can replace it with a new replacement part.
