Replacing the Engine Air Filter

Model: Dodge Charger LD - Years 2011-2023
Part: Air filter

The engine air filter housing (or AIRBOX) is located on the side, near the coolant reservoir. Unscrew the fixing screws of the cover, lift it, and extract the old filter; remove any dirt residues from inside the filter box, taking care not to let them enter the intake duct (use a vacuum cleaner rather than compressed air).
Then, fit the new filter and re-screw the cover. You may also opt for a sports-type filter which, in addition to improving performance, will not need to be replaced but simply washed with the appropriate cleaner.
