Dodge Caliber - Video tutorial

Model: Dodge Caliber MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Engine
Operation: Third cylinder ignition coil replacement

If it happens that after starting the engine it turns out to have an irregular rotation speed and in addition the engine fault warning light is on, there is certainly a problem with ignition of the mixture in some cylinders, or some spark plugs do not trigger the spark, most likely due to a malfunction of the relevant ignition coil; rather than trial and error, you can start by checking the fault memory in the engine control unit: the fault in fact refers to the misfire of the cylinder; the cylinders are counted from the distribution side, then from left to right looking at the engine from the front; at this point you can either proceed directly with the replacement of the coil or make a check with the specific instrument to be connected to the spark plug to check the power supply voltage and the ignition time. After checking and repairing, clear the fault memory with the diagnostic tool.
