Replacing the engine air filter is a simple task that allows you to save money on mechanic fees if you do it yourself. This filter ensures that clean air reaches the engine, which is essential for the car's efficiency.

You should replace the engine air filter annually or every 12,000 miles or 20,000 km. This filter is a black plastic box located above or to the side of the engine. Once you open the box, you can remove the old filter.

Place the new engine air filter into the filter box, with the rubber edge facing upwards and ensuring it is positioned correctly.
